Charité International Academy
The challenges of an increasingly globalized education and job market are numerous. For this reason, a Charité Workgroup under the leadership of Ulrike Arnold, Head of Charité International Cooperation (ChIC), has been concentrating for some time on the requirements and objectives of international education for physicians at home and abroad.
In 2008, the Workgroup developed the idea of ChIA = Charité International Academy. The Charité Foundation awarded this concept the Max Rubner Prize for Innovators in January 2009.
Experts for international intercultural communication, medical language and professional and medical communication skills have worked on establishing this training programme at the Charité, the only one of its kind in Germany.
